Our Physicians

Our physiciansTo become an anesthesiologist one must first receive a Bachelor's Degree from a four year college or university, a Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school, and then complete a four year residency program specializing in Anesthesiology. Additional years of training for further sub-specialization are possible through post-graduate fellowships. Board certification by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) is obtained by completing a written and oral examination process after graduation and is a requirement of Valley Anesthesia.

Information about the role of physician anesthesiologists before, during, and after your surgery can be found here, When Seconds Count.
